I had seen a few recipes for homemade Oxiclean, some with baking soda, others with washing soda and gave them a shot. The washing soda works better.
1 cup hydrogen peroxide
2 tbsp washing soda
Mix in a spray bottle or in a bowl for soaking and apply. Here are some of my before and after pictures using this formula! It was great and very cheap! Who knew it would be so easy to make your own Oxiclean?
The first picture is of our nasty kitchen sink. I have always had to use yucky bleach products to get the stains out of it (who makes kitchen sinks white anyways??) I thought I’d try the homemade Oxiclean on it and was shocked at how clean it got! I still had to use some elbow grease, but no natural cleaner I have tried gets the stains out.
The second pictures are my son’s raspberry smashed pants. The moment the homemade Oxiclean hit the pants the stains disappeared. It also got rid of thestains left by theĀ raspberries smashed on our couch. (I was very happy I was testing this recipe that day!) I also tried this on a shirt that had a stain on it for over 6 months, and had been washed and dried several times. It too came clean. Yay!
