I originally posted how to make your own compost bin here. After a few weeks of adding, rolling, and watering, we are getting somewhere! It fell open yesterday and I was able to see the middle contents of the barrel and I saw no remains of food. Some of the larger yard waste was still visible, so it is time to add more food scraps again! Yay! It is working!
Thanks for the update! We still haven’t gotten our second bin so we’ll give this a try.
