I’m so excited to have pizza again. Seriously. We used to eat it every Friday night, and with our new dairy-free, grain-free Paleo life, pizza was a thing of the past. Not anymore! I searched high and low for Paleo pizza crust recipes, and my first attempt was a flop. This time, it was perfect.
- 4 eggs (room temp works best)
- 1/2 cup Almond Milk
- 1/3 cup coconut flour
- 1/3 cup ground flaxseed
- 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- dash of sea salt
Combine first two ingredients in a large bowl. Whisk. Combine remaining ingredients in second bowl. Slowly pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients, and whisk quickly. It will take a minute or two of vigorous whisking to get a lump free dough. Since there is no gluten, don’t worry about over mixing.
Spread on silicone baking sheet. Make sure to spread it thin, and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
Add pizza sauce (we used Muir Glen organic pizza sauce and it was GOOOD!) and toppings. I used a small amount of raw cheese for this pizza, and it tasted great. My belly noticed, however, so I will skip the cheese in the future and just load with toppings. The kids (and my husband) thought it was great. I’m so excited to have pizza back in the rotation!

I am excited to get a good Paleo pizza crust recipe! I just started crossfit and have been trying to cut back on grains and sugar. I am so glad that you shared this at Fit and Fabulous Fridays!!
Yay! Good for you! Hope you like it!
Any suggestions for an alternative to the flaxseeds? My son has an allergy to it! Thanks so much!
If you can do nuts, almond flour would work.
My kids do not like the yoke of the egg ,is it ok if I do not include that and if yes then how does the proportion chance in anyway .
Thanks for your time.
If the yolk is mixed with the other ingredients, would they mind? You can’t really taste the eggs since there herbs and other ingredients. I’ve never made it without the yolk so I”m not sure how it would change the ratio. I would guess if you added an extra egg white that should be enough.
