Hi all! I’m very excited to announce that I have enrolled in a program consisting of 1100 hours of study in the exciting area of holistic nutrition. I have two years to complete the program, and then hope to counsel clients to better health. I also want to pursue my love of alternative medicine (namely homeopathy), and develop coaching skills to be of benefit to my future clients.
A friend told me that they heard a speaker say that there are 5 roles in your life that you can do well. Most of us have 27. After writing down all the roles I play (mom, wife, swim instructor, blogger, etc.), and trying to narrow down the top 5 I need to be giving my time and energy, I have decided to stop teaching swimming lessons this winter, and cut back on my blogging.
This past year, I have been writing 4-5 articles a week, and spending several hours weekly on the blog. I am realizing that as a stay-at-home mom, I will need every moment I have alone to study. I will still continue my Paleo Meal Monday feature, and I also plan to write articles as I see fit, but the amount of articles will be going down for a bit while I focus on school.
That being said, I am opening the door to guest posts! You DO NOT have to have a blog to guest post. If there is a niche that you have expertise in, something you’ve wanted to do some research on and write up an article, a recipe you would like to share, or a personal story of how you’ve “greened” up an area of your life, please contact me and I would be happy to have you post.
