My name is Katie, and I’m mom to two young boys, and wife to a stand-up guy. I stay home with my boys, and in my former life worked in health care at a children’s hospital and at a holistic health center. I enjoy photography, reading non-fiction, learning more about Jesus (he’s quite the fella!), studying nutrition and anything health related, spending time in the water (I’m a former competitive swimmer), and taking “adventures” with my family.
During this journey of motherhood, I have met many parents who are on a quest to learn about alternatives to traditional health care, to find chemical-free cleaning and body products, and to live more naturally. I began this blog as a way to share my family’s amazing successes using homeopathy as our primary source of health care, and to educate parents how to make wise choices when it comes to cleaning, food choices, and body products.

Thank you for your information on healing strep without antibiotics. I am the mother of two as well. My six year old daughter has had 2 bouts of strep throat since June 2012 & was just diagnosed with strep for the third time. I hate antibiotics but have not found a good naturopath near me. I have been feeling helpless to find another solution. She has already had antibiotics for strep twice this year. Her immune system is so weakened. Any suggestions are welcome.
I highly recommend working with a homeopath. They do not need to live in your area, as many great homeopaths work via Skype and email. My homeopath lives in California, and we have monthly appointments via Skype, and email frequently. They will help repair the immune system and deal with acute infections.
